How we handle your data
We collect as little as we can. We only use it to reply to you, deliver what you asked for, and improve the site. We never sell it.

Who we are
The Matrescence Mentor is run by Parallel Spark AG, a company registered in Zürich, Switzerland. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Our registered address is available on request.
For any privacy question or request, email hello@matrescencementor.com. We reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
This policy covers matrescencementor.com, our forms, bookings, the scorecard, our free guides (the Phoenix Report and the NEST Teaser Guide), the products you buy from us (such as The RISE Journals and the NEST Bundle), our Instagram replies, and our programmes and coaching. We follow the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to you, we follow it too.
What we collect and why
When you fill in a form
Our contact, enquiry, guide and newsletter forms collect your name, your email address, and anything else you choose to write, such as your message or the service you are asking about.
We use this to reply to you, send you the guide you asked for, or arrange the service you enquired about. Form submissions go to our form endpoint on Cloudflare, which stores them and sends the emails they need through Resend: your guide link, and a notice of your enquiry to us. The endpoint also adds each submission to Google Sheets, which is our record of it. When we reply to you personally, we write from our Google mailbox.
The contact, enquiry and Phoenix Report forms also have a box, unticked unless you tick it, saying you would like to receive occasional writing from The Matrescence Mentor. We record whether you ticked it, and which wording you saw, so we know who has asked to hear from us. Ticking it does not sign you up to anything yet: we do not send a newsletter at the moment. You can change your answer at any time by emailing us.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. For occasional writing, your consent, given by ticking the box or signing up in the footer, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.
When you use the scorecard
The Rise Up scorecard runs on ScoreApp. It collects your answers and the details you enter, such as your name and email, so it can show you your results and so we can follow up if you want us to.
When you book a call or session
Bookings are handled by Calendly. It collects your name, email, the time you choose and any notes you add. The Calendly booking window only loads when you click a booking link.
When you pay
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details directly. We receive confirmation of your payment and basic details such as your name, email and amount, but never your full card number. Stripe keeps the record of each sale.
When you buy a journal or the NEST Bundle
To give you access, we store your name, your email address, what you bought, when, and the state of your order. We email you a private link through Resend. The link signs you in to your purchase. We never put it in a web address that could be logged, and we keep only a scrambled version of it, never the link itself.
If you buy the NEST Bundle as a gift, we also store the recipient's name and email address and any message you write, so we can send them their access. These stay with us. They are never sent to Stripe or added to Google Sheets.
Legal basis: performing our contract with you. For a gift, our legitimate interest in delivering it to the person you chose.
When you comment on our Instagram posts
If you comment a keyword such as PHOENIX or NEST on one of our Instagram posts, Instagram tells us, and we send you one private message with the link you asked for. We only send it once for each keyword in 30 days.
To do this, we store the comment's ID, the post's ID, and a scrambled code made from your Instagram account ID, so we can tell whether we have already replied to you. We never store your comment, your username or your account ID itself. Everything is deleted after 30 days.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request, since commenting the keyword asks us for the link.
During coaching and programme sessions
Sessions take place on Google Meet. With your agreement, given at the start of a session, we may use Google Gemini to take notes or produce a transcript so we can focus on you rather than on writing. You can say no at any time and the session carries on without it. Notes are used only to support your programme and are never shared.
When you browse the site
Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so no data is sent to Google Fonts.
The Instagram posts shown on our home page are copied to our own site in advance, so viewing them sends nothing to Instagram.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 records how the site is used: pages viewed, how far you scroll, which report chapters you reach, and which buttons you click. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. If you do not accept, Google Analytics never loads.
Cookies and your choice
When you open a guide or a purchase from your private link, we set one essential cookie so you stay signed in to it. It holds a random code, never your link or your details, and lasts at most 30 days. It only works on that guide or purchase. The site cannot deliver what you asked for without it, so it does not need your consent.
We only set analytics cookies if you click Accept analytics in the cookie banner. These are Google Analytics cookies whose names begin with _ga. They last up to two years unless you clear them.
Your choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, so the banner does not ask you again on every page. Calendly may set its own cookies when you open a booking window.
You can change your mind at any time. . If you reject after previously accepting, we delete the analytics cookies from your browser.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of trusted services to run the site and our work. They process data on our behalf and only for the purposes above. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
- Cloudflare. Hosts the website, our form endpoint and our purchase and access service. Stores form submissions for up to 30 days while it sends the emails they need, and adds each one to our record in Google Sheets. Runs Turnstile, which checks that a form is sent by a person. Processes technical data such as IP address and browser to deliver and protect the site.
- Resend. Sends the emails our website sends automatically, such as your Phoenix Report link, your access link after a purchase, and the notice of your enquiry that comes to us.
- Google (Sheets, Gmail, Meet, Gemini). Stores our record of form submissions, holds our mailbox, hosts coaching sessions, and, with your agreement, takes session notes.
- Google Analytics 4. Measures how the site is used. Only runs if you accept analytics cookies.
- Stripe. Processes payments and keeps the record of each sale. We never see or store your full card details.
- Meta (Instagram). Tells us when someone comments a keyword on our Instagram posts, and delivers our private reply.
- Calendly. Handles call and session bookings.
- ScoreApp. Runs the Rise Up scorecard and stores your answers and results.
Data stored outside Switzerland
Some of these services store or process data outside Switzerland, including in the EU and the United States. Where a country does not have data protection recognised as adequate by Switzerland, we rely on the provider's certification under the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses, as the law allows.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and form submissions: your name and email address are removed from our form endpoint after 30 days. Our record in Google Sheets is kept for as long as we need it to deal with your request and any follow-up, then deleted.
- Your answer about occasional writing: until you withdraw it.
- Unfinished purchases: if you start a checkout but do not pay, your name, email address and any gift details are deleted about 30 days later.
- Instagram replies: 30 days, then deleted automatically.
- Sign-in cookies: at most 30 days, and never beyond the end of your access.
- Clients, purchases and payments: for as long as our business records must be kept under Swiss law, generally up to ten years.
- Session notes: for the length of your programme, then deleted unless you ask us to keep them.
- Analytics: for up to 14 months, then deleted automatically by Google.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your data
- stop using your data for a particular purpose, or withdraw a consent you gave
- send your data to you or to another provider in a common format
